It's a devlog, silly!

Hi. You can call me DistortionJunky.

I am an IT guy by day. By night, I mess around with music—recording, mixing, writing the odd song. I play guitar, a bit of bass, and sing well enough to get by. You know, basically a band of one.

I love music. I love making music. I like getting better at it. I like figuring things out as I go.

I also like building things. Not big, grand ideas—just useful stuff. Things that solve a problem, or make something a bit easier, or a bit more fun.

This site is where those two sides meet.

This is a devlog of me building something I want to use. If it ends up being useful to other people too, that's a bonus.

I'm not an expert, and I'm not going to pretend to be one. That'd just not my way.

I'll just share what I'm working on, what I'm learning, and what seems to work (or doesn't).
